The Magpie was an inspiring bird to me at one point well it still is till this day as I was seeing them everywhere whether it was traveling around to college or heading to work in the morning. I was interested in the meanings and the symbols, which the bird represented in Fork Law and in our modern society. This was the piece, which firstly got me into the ideas of animation as I did a drawn time line of the magpie flying from the pages of a book. I'm was trying to explore areas of beauty, stillness, and movement in the drawn aspects of the work and represent the magpie as a lonely character flying through the pages of time.
